I'm stressed out. I'm supposed to be moving to texas in a week and I can't get a job without an address and I can't get an apartment without a job and I have no /money/ and my car is a wreck and Jeffie will be here tomorrow and I have no /money/ and augh
also i caught a cold and it's taking forever to clear out of my head; thankfully today it's mostly just a bit of sore throat, bone-deep /cold/ (which might also just be the weather T_T it was so nice yesterday!), and lethargy like unnngh. WHICH DOES NOT HELP WITH THE ABOVE STRESS.
ffffffffff

So I'm out of my apartment, and back home again. Dad thinks I should get a job first, and I think he has a good point.
On the other hand, moving to Texas has become a prevalent thought again as well. I told Mom I'd wait until the end of September, and if I didn't have any prospects here I'd start looking down there. Also their EMT program looks promising...
So I don't have a computer set up at home yet, and I'm borrowing Mom's, so I can't really check my lj or email at home right now, but I'll let you know as soon as I do/can. :)

[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: so suzanne goes out, she's like the office manager or something
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: they tell her it's fine, they turned off the gas
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: so she goes and tells john, who is the highest-up in office today
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and he says "well if people want to go home they can talk to their managers."
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then the /fire department/ comes
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and they're like
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: waffling
Simon Templar: why is it taking me so long to wake up :c
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: "well it's pretty bad but it's not dangerous - we can set up a fan -"
Simon Templar: oh for god's sake
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: someone gets ahold of a bigger boss and they ask what the firemen say, the firemen say "well, probably people should go home -"
Simon Templar: gas leaks cause physical symptoms and increase fire risk exponentially why would you even stay
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then i go to report and then suddenly we're actually being /evacuated/
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: so -
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: i don't know if i'm getting paid or not :C
Simon Templar: aw
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: but it was certainly /exciting/ for that last 20 minutes of WTF

[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: i dreamt 1 that i was moving out and there was a ghost on my patio
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and mom and justin couldn't see it
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then grandpa got in a car accident and died and somehow it was my fault according to Rhonda
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: but then the Doctor came and we had to undo it
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: but then he died again and i figured out it was a set-up because he died bc he was doing jumping jacks and had a heart attack
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and i was like GRANDPA CAN'T DO JUMPING JACKS
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then they couldn't shock him because he was wearing too much jewelry
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: grandpa doesn't wear jewelry either
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then it was -
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then we discovered that it was Evil Willow's fault
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and all these demons came and Buffy came to fight him
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and my grandpa came out of the back room he was fine the other one was a demon and i killed it with a broken door
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: impaled
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: poke like a slug it was pretty gross
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and then like
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: suddenly i was at some sort of concert
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: only it wasn't really a concert it was like, all the buffy people hanging out
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and talking on microphones
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and daniel jackson was trying to kick them off/piss them off
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: so buffy and I tackled him
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and there were these pallets we landed on
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: that were filled with air, just like, big giant boxes of corrogated cardboard. props for smashing, i guess.
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: then it turned into a pep rally at my highschool
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and daniel jackson was suddenly sitting down with all the football players
[ST] [FFF] WOLLY BEAR: and i said FUCK THIS and went to go home, I don't have to go to PEP RALLIES i'm not a kid anymore

ugh. i came back from the bathroom and there was a thing in front of my cube.
so i kicked it to see what it was.
OMG it was a huge spider. like, quarter sized! I swear. So gross. When I kicked it it ran under the pot on the other side of my cube. I went and got Rhonda to kill it for me.
My skin is all crawly now :C

I am growing increasingly concerned that I am going to be homeless at the end of the week, because apartments are either fucking EXPENSIVE - I can't afford to pay a cool thou a month for a one bedroom! or UNAVAILABLE which is just frustrating as hell.
Went to check out two places at lunch, and they were both unavailable. :/ Stopped by a third but high-tailed it out because i was pretty damn sure I couldn't afford it. :/

Some Medgineer stuff or something. I oughtn't be writing this at work but it's in my head and all augh.

i just woke up from dreaming that mom dragged us out to see this mountain that was spitting rocks. these kids who lived on the mountain were catching the rocks in baseball gloves and i thought this was incredibly stupid, they were going to hurt themselves, there were scorchmarks all over the gloves, we ought to be getting /out/ of there not /taking fucking pictures/ and /collecting rocks/
and then the mountain started rumbling, and we started running for the car. Only then /other mountains/ in the area started rumbling, so the only solution was to run for high-non-volcanic ground as far away from the mountains as possible and we were /fucking surrounded/ by volcanoes that were smoking and growing and shooting rocks and then there was grey sticky oozy lava pouring out of the volcanos and it was hot and smoky and I was the only one who seemed to be worried about the rocks coming from the sky like fucking meteorites still.
ugh. it was terrible. yuk.
also apparently the USAA person called my parents instead of me because my phone was off? but it wasn't, so i'm terribly confused as to how she ended up getting my voicemail. :/

at work again. bored out of my mind, really, but what's new, right?
USAA hasn't called me yet, but they said 12-5 so they've got an hour or so left. :/
I think I've got a little bit of jet lag, but I'm 2 hours off /the other way/ somehow. Couldn't sleep until 5, and woke up at 12. Wut.

:C I stopped at Albertsons on the way to the 'rents' to pick up ice and some lady hit my back right tire.
I am shaken up but fine; the car is scraped but no worse than that (I think).
... tequila helps.
